Doris T. Boocher, 91, North Manchester, IN died at 7:16 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash, IN. She was born January 20, 1925 in Wabash County, IN to Albert L. & Mary K. (Karn) Niccum. She was a homemaker and retired from Singer Controls, North Manchester, IN in 1990 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, North Manchester, IN. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed fishing with her family. She is survived by sons, Jerry Boocher, North Manchester, IN, Allan (Rosalyn) Boocher, South Whitley, IN and Arden (Carol) Boocher, Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Judy (Dennis) Cripe, North Manchester, IN and Beverly (Mike) Rice, Warsaw, IN; brother, Walter (Marie) Niccum, North Manchester, IN; her twin sister, Dorothy Byers, North Manchester, IN; sisters-in-laws, Anna Lee Boocher, North Manchester, IN and Jane Kinzie, North Manchester, IN; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. One brother, Edward Niccum, two sisters, Mae Metzger and Fern Long, one grandchild and two great grandchildren are deceased. Family and friends may call Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 2:00-5:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services will be Monday, June 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, State Road 13 North, North Manchester, IN. Home Brethren will officiate.
