Wabash County, Indiana (August 8, 2019) – Grow Wabash County has announced two staffing changes that will take place over the next several months. Tenille Zartman, Project Manager – Economic Development has been promoted to Vice President of the organization and will take on additional responsibilities in the further development of the organization. Additionally, Susan Street (Ross), Project Manager – Marketing & Investor Services will be stepping down from her role in October as she takes an extended maternity leave to focus on her new family.
“Shortly after I was hired, Grow Wabash County was formed from a merger of the Economic Development Group of Wabash County and the Wabash County Chamber of Commerce. Since that date it has been pedal to the metal while our organization focuses on livability, business development, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and investor service initiatives. Grow Wabash County’s board and team members are passionate and innovative when it comes to making our county a more prosperous community, and I am thrilled this group is calling on me to play an even more vital role in our communities’ development as Vice President,” Zartman said.
Zartman has a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, along with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation with an emphasis in Tourism Management and a minor in Recreation and Park Administration from Indiana University-Bloomington. She also has several certifications, including: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Disney Approach to Quality Services, Community Development from Ball State University’s Indiana Communities Institute, Leadership Development of Wabash County, CO.STARTER Entrepreneurship Course, and is currently pursing a Certified Economic Developer certification from the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. She is also highly involved in our community, currently serving as Vice-Chairman for the Wabash County Historical Museum Board of Directors; board member of Learn More Center; Chairman/Founder of the Steering Committee for the Young Professionals of Wabash County; member of Kiwanis and Tri Kappa; and numerous others.
“Since the first day that Tenille joined our Grow Wabash County team, I’ve been continually impressed with how she has not only made our organization better, but challenged us to continually improve,” said Keith Gillenwater, President & CEO of Grow Wabash County. “I am
| thrilled to promote Tenille to be our organizations first Vice President, and it’s a testament to her leadership and value to all of us that we’ve taken this step.” Street, who has been with Grow Wabash County since May 2018 has played an instrumental role in professionalizing the marketing efforts and investor services roles for the organization. “I have valued my time working with Grow Wabash County over the last 14 months, and I know that the organization will continue to lead efforts to grow our community. I plan to stay involved in the organization and its committees that I have helped to lead in my time here, but I am looking forward to starting this next chapter of my life as a new mother.” Street said. “We will all miss Susan when she leaves, as we have valued her time and commitment to building Grow Wabash County but we are extremely happy for her as she enters this next phase of her life,” Gillenwater said. |
