The JEAN TEAM Drug Task Force, Marion Police Department, Grant County
Sheriff’s Dept., Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section, Indiana State
Police Peru Post, ATF, and Grant County Prosecutors Office have been conducting
an investigation for the last several months into the Dealing of Illegal Drugs in the
Grant County community.
The JEAN Team Drug Task Force has arrested the following individuals:
James Darquan McCreary, 40-year-old male, Count I: Conspiracy to Deal
Cocaine a Level 3 Felony; Count II: Conspiracy to Deal Cocaine a Level V
Felony; Count III: Corrupt Business Influence a Level V Felony; Count IV:
Maintaining a Common Nuisance a Level 6 Felony. Possession of Cocaine
with intent to deliver a Level 2 Felony.
Cortez Maurice Love, 37-year-old male, Count I: Dealing Cocaine a Level 2
Felony; Count II: Conspiracy to Deal Cocaine a Level V Felony; Count III:
Corrupt Business Influence a Level V Felony; Count IV: Maintaining a
Common Nuisance a Level 6 Felony.
Jeffery Jerel Campbell, 33-year-old male, Count I: Dealing Cocaine a Level 2
Felony; Count II: Conspiracy to Deal Cocaine a Level V Felony; Count III:
Corrupt Business Influence a Level V Felony; Count IV: Maintaining a
Common Nuisance a Level 6 Felony. Possession of cocaine with intent to
deliver a Level 2 Felony.
Search Warrants were served at the following locations:
1003 W. 6th St. in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. The property is owned by
Delmar Cannon of Marion, IN.
1826 W. Nelson St. in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. The property is
owned by Gary Shook of Marion, IN.
1616 S. Branson St. in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. The property is
owned by ED + GR Two LLC. of Marion, IN.
1721 W. Saxon Dr. in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. The property is owned
by Quinshanna Porter-Love of Marion, IN.
The case has resulted in the seizure of over a pound and a half of Cocaine, 17
ounces of Methamphetamine, multiple Firearms, and Paraphernalia used in the
distribution of illegal drugs into the community.
This investigation is ongoing, and up to 50 more people who have been involved
with this drug ring can expect arrest warrants in the near future.
