Linda S. Martin, 70, of Peru passed away at 5:30pm on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her residence.
She was born in Floyd County, Kentucky on June 22, 1948 to Jonas and Thelma (Burchett) Hunt. Linda had worked at Woodcrest Manufacturing as a painter. She was member of the Eagles Lodge.
She is survived by her children Angelia Oliver (husband, Gary) of Peru, Veronica Martin of Texas, and Kevin Martin of Peru. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also, two brothers Tommy Hunt of Las Vegas, Nevada and Gary Hunt of San Antonio, Texas; and one sister Loretta Dillon (husband, Bob) of Wabash.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Lisa Martin, a brother Bascom Hunt, and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 4pm-6pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 6pm, with Pastor Jim Rairigh officiating.
