Officer Paige Blanton joined the Wabash City Police Department in July 2017. Officer Blanton has spent the last fifteen weeks at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and is now a member of graduating class 18-213. During the last fifteen weeks Officer Blanton has been trained in criminal law, defensive tactics, traffic law, firearms, emergency vehicle operations, and many otheraspects of law enforcement. Officer Blanton has endured the physical fitness standards, been exposed to chemical weapons(mace), and has passed all written exams. Officer Blanton graduated the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy today. Officer Blanton will begin patrol back in Wabash on February 5, 2018.
