MIAMI COUNTY, IN- On Monday evening at the Miami County 4-H Fairgrounds Community Building the 2024 Miss Miami County pageant was held.
After an evening of presenting themselves on stage including a dance, professional wear, evening gown and interviews, Alexandra Merritt was crowned 2024 Miss Miami County by the 2023 Miss Miami County Olivia LaBare. Emceeing the event was Michael Kuhn and presenting the bouquet to Miss Miami County was Fair Board President Greg Hunt.
Alexandra is the daughter of Rusty and Jeanette Merritt. In the Fall she will be a Junior at Purdue University studying with a double major in Agricultural Communications and Agricultural Sales Marketing.
1st Runner Up and Professional Wear Award went to Haley Washburn. She is the daughter of Jason and Leyna Washburn and in the Fall she will be a Dance major at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.
2nd Runner Up and Miss Congeniality went to Jolie Dionne. She is the daughter of Rudy and Kim Dionne and in the Fall she will be attending IUK as a Senior majoring in Biology with a Pre-Med track.
3rd Runner Up, Top Sponsor and Evening Gown awards went to Annika Oliver. She is the daughter Rick and Ranissa Oliver and she will be a Senior at Purdue University of Fort Wayne.
4th Runner Up, Miss Photogenic and Mental Attitude Awards went to Macie Ramsey. She is the daughter of Michael and Tina Ramsey and she will be a Senior at Maconaquah High School.
