WABASH COUNTY, IN- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 85 HOPE Free Medical Clinic will host their 6th annual “Mammo Month” event in October, making it possible for many Wabash County women to complete their annual mammograms.
From October 1-31, any Wabash County woman ages 40-64 may stop by 85 HOPE Medical Clinic in Wabash or North Manchester during operating hours and pick up an order for a free 3-D mammogram. All mammograms will be completed at a later date at Parkview Wabash Hospital.
To be eligible for a mammogram order, women must be the appropriate age and reside in Wabash County. There are no income restrictions, and no appointments are necessary. 85 HOPE Wabash is located in the Lighthouse Crossings building at 123 W. Canal St. (entrance on left end under canopy) and is open Tuesdays 1-5 pm and Thursdays 1-8 pm. 85 HOPE Manchester is located in the Town Life Center building at 603 Bond St. (3rd floor, suite 8/9, elevator available) and open every Tuesday 3-5 pm and 1st and 3rd Tuesdays 5-8 pm.
