Sarah E. Kostyo, 79, of Marion, passed away at 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born on December 4, 1946, in Warren, Ohio, to Patrick and Mary (Archer) Hall. On January 18, 1989, she married Steven E. Kostyo, who preceded her in death.
Sarah was employed as a factory worker with Kraft Made, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring. She will be remembered for her hardworking nature, devotion to her family, and the love she shared with those around her.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (Robert) Sheely, Tracie Paugh, and Amy Mahoney; her sister, Carol (Garry) Greathouse; grandsons, Ryan (Taylor) Bennett, Brett Bennett, Joshua Bennett, Derek (Ivy) Bennett, Cody (Victoria) Sheely, Billy Wright, Jacob Wright, and Nicholas Wright; granddaughters, Sarah (Michael) Sheely-Pratt and Sidney Wright; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven E. Kostyo; her son, Henry R. Bennett; her parents, Patrick and Mary Hall; her sister, Patricia Bennett; and her brothers, James Hall and Louis Hall.
In keeping with Sarah’s wishes, no public visitation or funeral service will be held.
