Addie Grace Morgan, 89, Greenwood, passed away at 12:01 am on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Aspen Trace in Greenwood. She was born in Bradyville, Tennessee, on Monday, December 3, 1934, to Joseph and Elsie Elizabeth (Sissom) Reed. She was married to James Morgan, Jr., who preceded her in death.
Addie attended Woodbury High School in Woodbury, Tennessee. She was a member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church in Marion. She was a homemaker, loved caring for her grandchildren, and was dedicated to reading God's Word. She loved flowers and gardening.
Addie loved getting her family together for Christmas and always wanted to buy the perfect gift. The family always knew if she thought you may not have liked what you opened, she had something as an alternate gift. It didn't take us long to figure out we could keep both gifts.
Survivors include her children, Judy M. (Robert) Lohr of Greenwood, Michael (Michelle) Morgan of Marion, and Angela (Kevin Caillouette) Morgan of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Phillip Morgan of Marion, Lauren (Jose) Suriel of Indianapolis, Kimberly (Jeff) Rubush of Greenwood, and Scott (Anella) Lohr of Sarasota, FL; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Morgan, Musa Suriel, Trevor Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan, Lainey Morgan, Jacob Rubush, Ethan Rubush, and Aaliyah Cosme.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Willard Reed, Frank Reed, Robert Reed, and Bonnie Reed-Ewing.
A graveside service to celebrate Addie's life will begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Grant Memorial Park, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
