Amy Lyn Kuczewski of Wabash, Indiana crossed over from the world of the living on Feb 12, 2025, leaving behind her beloved husband of 33 years, Brian Kuczewski, as well as her two children Colby Kuczewski of Kokomo and Lilith (Charles) Sheldon of Wabash. She also leaves behind her two precious granddaughters, Phoebe Pace and Clover Kuczewski of Kokomo and hundreds of friends from all over the world who continue to grieve a less-bright world without her in it.
For those of us who knew Amy well, she was every color and texture-a renowned artist whose work included lampwork glass beads, leatherwork, bookbinding, painting, textiles and just about any medium she tried her skills at. Unique in her many styles, Amy was equally at home playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends in Wabash as she was road-tripping with her husband or daughter or all her many friends to places unknown in search of exotic foods or unusual gifts. Countless friends and followers of Amy will miss her for her incredible talent as well as her outspoken personality. Knowing Amy was to laugh more, taste more, experience more.
To everyone she met, Amy was adventurous and bold but also generous and loving. Rarely does one encounter a spirit of adventure like hers. Unafraid, unabashed, Amy accepted everyone she met and encouraged them to take up space-to love themselves and to be loved. Most of Amy’s life was spent creating beautiful things for other people but she was also a collector of beautiful things and people who will miss her forever. Precious friends like Amy are once in a lifetime.
We will never forget her.
A celebration of life for Amy will be at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash.
