Amy Michelle Tribbett, 55, McCordsville, passed away in her home at 2:25 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, February 18, 1969, to Jerry and Mary (Veazey) Stevens. On October 4, 2023, she married David Tribbett and he survives.
Amy graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1987 and Ball State University 1993 receiving her Bachelor's in Medical Technology. She worked as an application support principal at Roche Diagnostics. She was a voracious reader, enjoyed traveling and gardening. Amy was a foodie and loved to cook. She was a scientist, Salutatorian in high school, and graduated Summa Cum Laude at Ball State. She was a household Jeopardy contestant, loved puzzles and word games.
Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Mary Stevens of Jonesboro; husband, David Tribbett of McCordsville; son, Daniel (Zoe) Majors of Carmel; brothers, Christopher Stevens of Marion, Jeffrey Stevens of Marion; niece, Ariel Stevens of Kokomo; mother-in-law, Sue Myers of Gas City; and sister-in-law, Lisa (Michael) Koon of McCordsville.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
