GRANT COUNTY, IN- The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Marty L. Banter, who is currently wanted on active warrants for the following offenses:
Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon
Pointing a Firearm
Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office is seeking charges of Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon following an incident that occurred today, November 5, 2026, in which Banter allegedly struck the victim with a baseball bat.

2007 Chevrolet pickup truck
Color: Silver
Indiana License Plate: BCD677
Due to the nature of the alleged offenses and the circumstances surrounding these incidents, Banter should be considered armed and dangerous.
If you see Banter or his vehicle, DO NOT APPROACH OR ATTEMPT TO DETAIN HIM.
