PERU, IN- Director Mike Putt and Musical Director Cage DuBois have chosen Dec 2nd from 10a-12p and Dec 3rd from 5p-7p for the auditions of Ole Olsen's upcoming musical production 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'. Music rehearsals will start right away. Show dates begin with dinner theater on Feb 22. Evening performances are Feb 23, 24, March 1 & 2 at 730pm. Feb 24 & March 3 at 2pm.
Needed for the show are two men age 45-60, one man 25-40. Also, a woman 25-35, another 35-45, and one woman 50-60. All six characters sing. They will also need an ensemble for musical numbers.
Two con men, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Riviera collide in this sexy and irreverent farce. Hilarity and confusion ensue as the two men pull out all the steps to prove they are the best con man in town. The modern musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, is based on the 1988 MGM film of the same name, starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin. Sophisticated, suave, with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score.
