Barbara Ellen Cole, 67, of Lake Cicott, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, at University of Michigan Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 18, 1957, in Peru, Indiana, to Arthur and Marcialeen Jo Baker. She married Danny Lee Cole on September 7, 1980.
She enjoyed the company of her family and spending time with them, crocheting, sewing, and reading and sharing the word of God, even up to her last days in the hospital. She was a great wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She also selflessly put others before herself and was a friend to everyone. She attended Lockport Christian Church with her husband and family.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Lee Cole Sr., her daughter Michelle Lynn and husband Martin Lopez, with their two children Nataly and Matthew; her son Danny Lee Cole Jr. and wife She Rylou with their five children Sheena Maxine, Danny III, Benaiah, Alexandria, and Yohannah; and her sister Arlene and husband Denver Caldwell.
Barbara is preceded in death by her brother, her parents, and her grandparents.
Visitation will be at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana, 46970 on July 11, 2024, from 4 pm– 6 pm. Funeral Service will be on July 12, 2024, at 11 am with Pastor Nord Zootman officiating. Burial will take place at Peoria Cemetery, in Peru, Indiana.
