Belinda F. Kirkendall, 66, of Marion, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born on August 2, 1958, in Hartford City, Indiana, to Richard and Faye. Belinda graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1977. On July 14, 1991, she married the love of her life, Joe Kirkendall. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and joy. Belinda had a special bond with her grandchildren, often spending time traveling and crafting with them. She was known for her extravagant events, where everyone felt welcomed and loved. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Belinda’s home was always open to friends and family. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel like they belonged. Her caring nature and willingness to listen made her a beloved figure in the lives of many. Belinda is survived by her husband, Joe Kirkendall; her three children, Erica (Anthony) Eyer, April (Lance) Cannon, and Shawn Goodwin; her mother, Faye Linn; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters; She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Goodwin, and two brothers. Belinda’s legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Belinda’s life will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
