Beth Anne Hipp

Beth Anne Hipp, born April 22, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Henry J. and Sarah Eleanor (Lebelle) Kish, passed away on March 30, 2025, at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Wabash, Indiana.

Beth graduated from Charles F. Brush High School in Lyndhurst, Ohio, in 1968. Her career began with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, as she owned and operated her own house cleaning business, Dust Bunny Exterminators, before retiring.

On August 25, 1982, Beth married Mark Hipp, and together they created a life filled with love and adventure. They spent three decades in Cleveland, followed by fifteen years in Chicago, where they made countless memories. Their journey continued as they moved to Mechanicsville, Virginia, before ultimately settling in North Manchester, Indiana.

Beth’s zest for life was evident in her many hobbies and interests. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed boating, camping, and gardening. While residing in Chicago, she took great pride in her membership with the Garden Club, where her passion for cultivating beauty flourished. A talented baker and cook, she delighted family and friends with her culinary creations, filling their lives with warmth and joy. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society, where she embraced friendship and fun among her peers.

Her greatest joy, however, came from her beloved grandchildren. Beth always cherished her time spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Beth and Mark were dedicated members of the Plainfield United Church of Christ in Plainfield, Illinois, during their time in Chicago, where they fostered friendships rooted in faith and community.

The loving memory of Beth Hipp will be forever cherished by her husband, Mark Hipp, North Manchester; sons, Robert “Bob” (Liz) Hipp, North Manchester and Ben Hipp, Corvallis, Oregon; daughter, Christy (Brian) Toleman, Mechanicsville, Virginia; six grandchildren; siblings, Carol Welo, Bill (Bari) Kish, and Sally Kish. Beth was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Beth’s life will be held at a later date.

The Hipp family was very appreciative and thankful for the care that Beth received at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Wabash.
