Beverly Bernice Kelley

Beverly Bernice Kelley, 85, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:15 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at her home.  She was born on December 11, 1938, in Converse, Indiana, to Claude S. and Edith (Bish) King.

Beverly was a 1956 graduate of Marion High School. She worked at Dana in Andrews 31 years, retiring on February 13, 2004, and also worked at Foster Forbes in Marion. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, butterflies, feeding the birds and hummingbirds, her cat buddy, and especially enjoyed being with her family.  

She is survived by five daughters, Linda (Mike) Reynolds of LaFontaine, Indiana, Vicki Ervin of Marion, Indiana, Jerri Kinley of Wabash, Holly (Gary Harrel) Tiger of Huntington, Indiana, and Bobby (Dan) Schul of LaFontaine; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Kemp of Hartford City, Indiana, sister-in-law, Margaret King of Long Island, North Carolina; and her caregivers, Karen McKenzie, Diane Grube, and Sharlie Hoovenden.  She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Mitchell Kinley; two brothers, Gordon King and Claude S. “Sanny” King; two sisters, Linda King and Karen Lavelle; and her companion, DeWayne Brooks.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Gayle Faunce officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.  Friends may call 9:30-11:00 am Saturday, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are Riley Hospital for Children or Vernon Manor Health and Rehab.
