Beverly Diane (Yentes) Betzner passed from this life to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ June 24, 2024 at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, IN. She was born October 17, 1953 to Daisy Louise (Johnson) Yentes Berg in Peru, IN. She was a 1971 graduate of Peru High School and Kokomo Beauty School. Beverly’s children are Ben Gustin and wife Nina in Indianapolis and Ryan Betzner and wife Angie in Missouri. Grandchildren include Michael Gustin (deceased) and Isabella Gustin, Ross Betzner, Eli Betzner, and Kirstin Jacobs.
Beverly is survived by a sister Linda Rodgers and husband John in Peru and a brother William Yentes and wife Marita Kay in Oklahoma. She was predeceased by her parents, stepfather, and a brother John Yentes in Peru.
Beverly was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Peru and was visited and prayed over by Pastor Greenwald and Pastor Dub. She retired from Square D and enjoyed family, friends, flowers, crafts, cooking, and serving as a caregiver to others including her mother D. Louise Berg and stepfather Donald Berg (Dad to her). Beverly loved animals and her favorite dogs Keisha and Gracie.
Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a celebration of life at 1:00 PM Friday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home in Peru, IN. Memorials may be sent to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home or St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
