Wabash, IN – The City of Wabash is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Barrows to the Wabash City Council, District 1, effective January 1, 2025. Barrows was appointed by the Republican Caucus on December 30, 2024.
A longtime resident and community leader, Barrows has served as Park Board President, a member of the Wabash City Plan Commission, and a YMCA employee. He was also honored with the Distinguished Citizen Award for his dedication to the City of Wabash. Mr. Barrows brings valuable experience and a fresh perspective to the Council.

Mr. Barrows will help shape city policies, guide budgetary decisions, and represent the diverse interests of our Wabash community.”
Barrows replaces Wade Weaver, who recently resigned from the City Council. He will be formally introduced at the Wabash City Council meeting on January 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
