Bluegrass at Hopewell tickets on sale now


WABASH, IN– Visit Wabash County officials announce the return of the Bluegrass at
Hopewell live-music event to take place on July 27. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at visitwabashcounty.com or in person at the Welcome Center in downtown Wabash.
The event offers three ticket options. Lawn/lower-level tickets can be purchased for $20
each and guests are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Ticket
price includes entry into the event, Trolley No.85 rides to and from the Antique Boutique
at Hopewell, and a gourmet cobbler tasting. High-top tables for 4 on the upper level of
the barn can be purchased for $125 and include entry into the event, cobbler tasting,
Trolley rides, and a gift basket. Tables for 8 on the upper level can be purchased for
$275 and include entry into the event, cobbler tasting, Trolley rides, a gift basket with a
bottle of wine and tasty treats from Bailey’s Pizza Parlor, bottled water, and an invitation
to the afterparty at the 950 Speakeasy Bistro in Lagro, Indiana. Children age 12 and
under are free, but are required to have a ticket.
This year’s event will feature live music on both upper and lower levels of the Rustic Barn
at Hopewell and at the Antique Boutique at Hopewell. “Some of our favorite performers
will return from last year,” said Jennifer Long-Dillon, tourism manager for Visit Wabash
County, “but I am thrilled to share that we will host line dancing in the lower level,
thanks to the instructors from Wabash Valley Dance Theater.”
Cornfields & Crossroads will return with other musical acts including Brad McCord,
Dwayne “Hank” Conaway, the Barrel Scrapers, Stampede String Band, and Winding
Creek Friends. “In partnership with the 950 Speakeasy Bistro, Troy Losure, and Friends will
be performing at the after-party,” said Long-Dillon.”
Local food vendors this year will be Canal Creamery, White Rock Brick Oven Pizza, and
Emmett’s Paddy Wagon. Moon Dog returns offering libation service and will offer a
tequila tasting at the Antique Boutique for an additional fee. It will be a unique and
interactive experience.
Emmett’s Paddy Wagon will be onsite offering Americana-style meals and
non-alcoholic beverages and Moon Dog will offer a full-menu bar. Outside food and
drinks are prohibited at the event.
This year’s event is sponsored by H&S Metals, H&S Towing, Haul All, Ford Meter Box
Foundation, Norfolk Southern Railroad, and the 950 Speakeasy Bistro. Event partners
include Moon Dog, Bailey's Pizza Parlor, Rustic Barn at Hopewell, Antique Boutique at
Hopewell, and Wabash Valley Dance Theater.
