BRENDA RAMSEIER ART NOW FEATURED AT THE VISIT WABASH COUNTY WELCOME CENTER


Wabash, Ind. – Visit Wabash County is excited to announce that Silver Lake resident Brenda Ramseier now has her artwork for sale, and is a featured artist, in the Visit Wabash County Welcome Center. 

Brenda was born and raised in Indiana and comes from a creative family that encouraged her passion for art.  She graduated from Bob Jones University and received her teaching art credentials from Manchester University and Purdue University. Brenda also studied watercolor with Rob O’Dell, Henry Bell, Gwen Gutwein, and Terry Armstrong.  She taught elementary and middle school art, and recently retired from the Maconaquah School Corporation.  Currently she is still following her love and passion for teaching by offering workshops and classes for both children and adults. Dates and times offered can be found on her website, theartgiraffe.com

Ramseier said, “I’m excited to share the beauty of Wabash County through my art at the lovely Welcome Center. What a delightful venue to showcase Wabash County.”

Brenda has exhibited, and won many honors, in shows across Indiana including Hoosier Salon, Honeywell Center, The Anderson Center for the Arts, Ventures in Creativity in Ft. Wayne, and the Akron Area Art League.  She has won Best of Show several times, and has accumulated many first, second,and third awards in the last 25 years.  Brenda was honored recently by the Akron Area Arts League with Artist of the Year 2014.
