Brian Allen Snider

Brian Allen Snider peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the age of 66, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on November 24, 1958, in Marion, Indiana, he was the youngest of six children to Richard and Ruth Snider. A 1977 graduate of Marion High School, Brian faced an eight-year battle with cancer with grace, strength, and unwavering faith.

On May 5, 1978, Brian married Sarah, the love of his life. Their 46-year marriage was filled with devotion, laughter, and shared adventures. Together, they raised two sons, Brian Aaron Snider (Kasey) and Vincent Jordan Snider, who preceded him in death.

For nearly four decades, Brian owned and operated Snider Service Center at 38th Street and the Bypass in Marion, earning a reputation as a master-certified automobile technician. Later in life, he pursued his calling, earning a degree in theology through the Assemblies of God. His ministry touched countless lives, extending to prisons, hospice care, and anyone in need, reflecting his deep compassion and commitment to service.

Brian’s life was marked by his diverse passions. He loved traveling the country on his motorcycle with Sarah, meeting people, and sharing his boundless generosity. Known for his loyalty and kindness, Brian was a beloved friend whose faith and genuine spirit inspired everyone who knew him.

Brian is survived by his wife, Sarah Snider; his son, Brian Aaron Snider (Kasey); and his cherished grandchildren, Ellie, Beckett, and Brinley.

In accordance with Brian’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 3:00 pm at New Life Community Church, 2011 W. 10th St., Marion, In 46953.

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Life Community Church Building Fund or the Training Center at New Life Community Church, as Brian requested.
