MIAMI COUNTY, IN– INDOT announces lane restrictions on U.S. 31 near Peru for bridge construction.
Starting on or after April 1, crews will start working on the bridge over Old 24 and the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Work on the project is expected to be complete by the end of October. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During construction one lane of U.S. 31 will be closed in each direction with a reduced speed limit.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
