Carolyn Sue Milliner-Stratton, 76, of Marion, took her last breath and went to be with the Lord at 5:27 am on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in Fort Wayne with family by her side. A lifelong resident of Marion, Carolyn was born on Monday, January 3, 1949, to William Henry Eli Milliner and Lana Small. She was a domestic engineer who lovingly took care of her family.
Carolyn enjoyed watching Yellowstone, reading and re-reading anything by James Patterson, and spending time with her granddaughter, Angel Stratton.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Stratton of Marion; sons, David (Lori) Milliner of Fairmount and Robert Stratton, Jr., of Marion; sisters, Becky Reichenbaugh of Bon Aqua, TN, and Frances Milliner of Fairmount; brothers, David Milliner of Anderson and Rick Milliner of Marion; as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William “Bill” Milliner and Robert “Bob” Milliner; granddaughter, Niquita “Nikki” Milliner; niece, Jennifer “Jenny” Love; nephew, Scott Milliner; and her special friend, Robert Stratton, Sr.
Services are TBD and will be closed to the family, followed by a private celebration of life gathering.
