Charles D. “Chuck” Padrick

Charles D. “Chuck” Padrick, 81, of Peru, Indiana, died at 12:44 am, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo, Indiana.  He was born on March 28, 1943, in Johnson County, Indiana, to Douglas and Josephine (Bush) Padrick.

Chuck was a 1961 graduate of Clark Pleasant High School in Johnson County, Indiana. He married Patricia Snyder in Whiteland, Indiana on May 20, 1973. Chuck worked for the Indiana Gas Company now known as Vectren. He was a US Navy veteran serving on the USS Flasher Submarine, and was also stationed in Hawaii. Chuck was a member of the Wabash American Legion Post 15, the Wabash V.F.W. Post 286, and also the R.C. Airplane Club at Camp Atterbury. He enjoyed fishing, camping with friends, boating, guns, computers, visiting with family and friends, but most importantly he loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Padrick of Peru, daughter, Michelle (David) Maxwell of Peru, four grandchildren; Emily (Dustin) Hardesty of Bedford, Indiana, Erica Reddick of Clarksville, Tennessee, Karen (Nelson) Reese of Peru, and Justin (Bailley) Maxwell of Kokomo, four great-grandchildren; Avery Maxwell and Riley Maxwell both of Kokomo, Dallas Reese and Memphis Reese both of Peru, sister, Annette Wildman of Indianapolis, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and half brother, James Padrick.

A celebration of life will be at a later date. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
