Charon K. (Foust) Ehmer

Charon K. (Foust) Ehmer, 75, Marion, a proud breast cancer survivor, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at her home. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on September 1, 1948, to Charles and Lois (Noon) Foust.  On July 14, 1984, she married Michael Ehmer.

Charon graduated from Hartford City High School in 1966 and attended Adrian College. She worked at RCA for 31 years until retirement and was a member of Women of the Moose. Charon had a green thumb and loved gardening. She also loved flowers and tending to them.  Charon enjoyed shopping as well.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Ehmer of Marion; sons, Jeremy (Autumn) Ehmer of Fairmount, Tim Ehmer of Fairmount, and Tom (Abby) Ehmer of Gas City; grandsons, Scott Ehmer of Gas City, Tobby Ehmer of Phoenix, AZ, Jacob Ehmer, of Gas City, Logan Ehmer of Gas City, and Sawyer Ehmer of Fairmount; granddaughter, Riley Riggs of Gas City; brother, Charles Foust of Hartford City; sister, Vickie Ralston of Fort Worth, TX; and many nieces and great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Warden Foust and Lois Mae Foust.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Charon's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Atkinson officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
