Cheryl Ann Browne

Cheryl Ann Browne, age 62, loving mother of six, and adoring wife of 28 years to husband Mike Browne, passed away in the early hours of May 17th, 2024 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Born February 16, 1962, in Peru, IN, she was the daughter of Jerry Breitweiser and Carolyn Breitweiser. She was the caring sister to two brothers, Chad Breitweiser and Lonnie Breitweiser.

Cheryl was the devoted mother to Chantel Cable (Silas Cable), Tawnie Browne (Katrina Browne), Justin Jacques, James Browne, Jr, Jared Browne (Shelby Browne), and Gunnar Flynn. There was no question how much she adored her children. She instilled to her kids to always be selfless and that family is everything.

Cheryl worked as the billing manager for Dr. Leon Hendley in Vero Beach, FL for over 30 years. She loved the patients she interacted with on a daily basis and she was known for her beautiful personality. She was the definition of hard worker. Cheryl and her husband Mike owned a well known lawn business and on weekends she would help with landscaping jobs and managing the bookkeeping.

It was evident to everyone how much Cheryl loved her family. Moving to Kokomo, IN in 2020 to be closer to her grandkids, she was the best “Nam-Maw”. She was the beloved grandmother to Miranda Smith, Harper Bordeniuk, Brycen Cable, and Kane Browne.

During her free time, Cheryl would ride her motorcycle with Mike and enjoyed making new friends. She was beautiful inside and out – full of grace, love, and compassion. One of a kind, truly an angel on Earth… now she has her wings.

A double Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on June 1st, 2024 at In His Image Church in Kokomo, IN for Cheryl and her dad, Jerry Breitweiser who passed on May 5, 2024.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.FlowersLeedyAllen.com.
