Cindy Lee Powell, 56, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 12:42 am, Friday, May 17, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. She was born on August 10, 1967, in Wabash, Indiana, to Bernard and Nancy (Harmon) Marcum.
Cindy married Matt Powell in Roann on October 28, 1997. She was a para professional teacher at the Learn More Center in North Manchester. Cindy enjoyed photography, crafts, traveling, camping, cook outs with family, riding motorcycles and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. She loved her grandchildren more than anything.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Powell of North Manchester; six children, Aaron Marcum of Silver Lake, Indiana, Ashley Arney and Dustin (Brittany) Lipps, both of Roann, Jordan (Scott Fidler) Powell of Lafayette, Indiana, Madisyn (Dakota) Parker of Wabash, and Kassidy (Riley) Carmer of Elkhart, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Brayden Arney, Ashlynn Arney, Ali Arney, Khloe Clemens, Keira Clemens, Kylynn Lipps, Grayson Parker, Kooper Lipps, and Daxon Parker; and her sister, Nette Poe of North Manchester. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kim Tayor.
Friends may call 3-6 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. There will be a celebration of Cindy's life at a later date.
