PERU, IN- With temperatures potentially decreasing, the City of Peru has several warming centers available for those in need. Below you will find a list of warming centers with their address, hours, and phone numbers.
Warming Center Locations – (Closed on National Holidays) *Closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
• Community Resource Center – 13 E Main Street – (765) 472-1923 o Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Ring the bell if the door is locked o Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Miami County Courthouse – 25 N. Broadway – (765) 472-3901 o Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Use the north entrance
• Miami County Health Department – 12 S. Wabash Street – (765) 473-0283 o Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Miami County YMCA – 751 W. Second Street – (765) 472-1979 o Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. o Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Peru City Hall – 35 S. Broadway – (765) 472-2400 o Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Peru Public Library – 102 E Main Street – (765) 473-3069 o Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. o Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Peru Schools Administration Building – 35 W Third Street – (765) 473-3081 on Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. o Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
