WABASH, IN – The City of Wabash Street Department is pleased to announce the 2024 Fall Clean-up dates. Fall Clean-up will begin on Monday, September 23, and end on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm. This service is only for City of Wabash residents.
All items should be curbside by 6:00 AM on your weekly trash route day.
Piles are to be no larger than a 4x8 pile.
PLEASE do not place items at the curbside before September 21, 2024.
A dumpster will be provided at the Street Department located at 1360 Manchester Ave. for residents who do not want to place items on the curbside.
o The hours will be 10:00 – 6:00 M-F and 8:00 – 1:00 PM Saturday.
Proof of City residence will be required.
List of items NOT accepted at curbside by the Street Department include:
o Cardboard boxes, batteries, paint, petroleum products, chemicals, televisions, computers, and other electronic devices, tires, appliances with freon, loose shingles, drywall, and plaster.
All items listed above except loose shingles, drywall, and plaster should be dropped off at the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District. There is no fee for this service. The district does not accept trash.
The Street Department will make every effort to stay on schedule. However, due to weather conditions or high volumes, delays may occur. If this happens, please be patient; your items will be picked up as soon as possible.
