Connie S. Clark, 78, Marion, passed away at 6:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, May 26, 1946, to Basil and Elizabeth (Smith) Bosworth. She married Nelson Denney, Sr., and he preceded her in death. She later married Richard Clark, and he also preceded her in death.
Connie was a homemaker throughout her life. She was a faithful member from the beginning of Servant Community Church. She liked to attend the races, as well as play Bingo. She enjoyed her six great-grandchildren so much.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Jo Denney of Marion and Norma (Jerry) Wines of Marion; sons, Nelson Denney of Marion and John Denney of Marion; grandson, Jordan Denney of Marion; granddaughters, Amanda Wines of Marion, Ashley Wines of Marion, and Tracy (Timmy) Persing of Marion; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; former daughters-in-law, Leah Woolsey and Jaqueline Denney; and special friend, Jackie (Merle) Ingle.
She was preceded in death by her father, Basil Bosworth, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Bosworth; siblings; Basil Bosworth, Jr., Doug Bosworth, Gary Bosworth, Nancy Jeffries, and Dixie Wise; and special son-in-law, Gary Gibbs.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Connie's life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Darrell Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
