Constance “Connie” S. Timmons, 68, Marion, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at her residence in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on March 2, 1956, to Howard and Eileen (Humes) Timmons.
Constance was a former member of Holiness House of Prayer. She graduated from Marion High School in 1974 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Marion College. Throughout her career, she worked for Family Services of Grant County, Heck’s Department Store, and Kmart. She enjoyed going on vacation, baking cakes, solving crossword puzzles, and playing dice with her brother and sister-in-law. Constance had a deep love for the Lord.
She is survived by her brothers, Gary (Pam) Timmons of Swayzee and Steve Timmons of Marion; sister-in-law, Rena Timmons of Marion; nieces, Stacie Timmons, Anna (Jeff) Wilson, Tina (Paul) Powell, Alisha (Allen) Jackson, Ashley Timmons, and Amber Timmons; nephews, Justin Vershaw, Michael (Julia) Timmons, and Michael Sluder; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Constance was preceded in death by her father, George H. Timmons; mother, Ruth E. Timmons; sister, Vicky Goodykoontz; brother, Ron Timmons; brother-in-law, Otis Goodykoontz; and sister-in-law, Samantha Timmons.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Constance’s life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
