Melody Gail McAtee, 66, of Marion, passed away at 11:20 pm on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, January 9, 1958, to James A. and Myrna L. (Scott) McAtee.
Melody graduated from Marion High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She was involved in the AmVets Ladies Auxiliary and P.A.W.S.S. of Grant County. Melody enjoyed playing farm simulators on her phone.
She is survived by several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debra L. McAtee.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
