Dakota Allen Bryant, 25, of Marion, passed away at 12:08 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, April 28, 1999, to Jason and Rusty (Coffelt) Bryant.
Dakota graduated from Marion High School in 2018. He worked 3 ½ years at Atlas Foundry, where he was a disa operator. Dakota loved fishing, working on his truck, music, talking on his CB, and especially spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also loved his dog, Zeus. Dakota was big-hearted and loved to help anyone.
Survivors include his parents, Jason and Rusty Bryant of Marion; sister, Twilight (Kody) Mathis of Muncie; brothers, Jason Bryant, Jr., of Marion and Dallas (Jasmine Hueston) Bryant of Marion; nieces, Mya, Sophia, Bella, Anjela, and Kateilynn; nephews, Xavier and Keegan; grandmother, Kathy Bryant; grandfather, Joe Major; special friend, Natalie White; uncles, William Bryant and Robert (Elizabeth) Craven; aunts, Rhonda (Richard) Flemming, Rita Trainer, Rachel Pruitt, and Roberta (Gene) Holcomb; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Abel; maternal grandparents, Russell and Levina Coffelt; and paternal great-grandparent, Rosie Wilbur.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Dakota’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tony Miner officiating. Burial will take place at Van Buren Cemetery.
