WABASH, IN- The Dam to Dam Wabash County Bike Ride committee is pleased to announce that Dam to Dam 2025 is full of new surprises! Dam to Dam(D2D) is celebrating its 16th year and has ‘Flipped the Ride’. The event will occur on Sunday, September 7, and start at the Wabash County YMCA. In line with the theme of ‘Flipping the Ride’, cyclists will ride the route in reverse, offering returning cyclists a new perspective of Wabash County. In addition to changing the route direction, the committee has created two additional cycling experiences that are only available to those who register for Sunday’s D2D. Kicking off the weekend of cycling is a Friday night sunset ride in the form of a progressive dinner. Participants must be age 21 or older to register for the sunset ride. A Saturday sunrise family-friendly pancake breakfast ride will be available. Both the Friday and Saturday cycling experiences can only be purchased in addition to registering for the Sunday D2D ride. The Flip the Ride in 2025 Sunday Dam to Dam Bike Ride also introduces new route lengths. Cyclists can choose between a 15, 40, 60, 75, and 100 (Century) mile route. A 15-mile ride will be available at 10 AM earmarked solely for families with young children. “The routes have been the same for several years and the committee decided it was time to shake things up,” said Stephanie Rogers, event director and experiences manager for Visit Wabash County. “By adding more cycling experiences throughout the weekend gives riders a chance to see Wabash County in a new fun way.” Early Bird registration for the Dam to Dam is open now at a discounted price of $45/ rider. Youth cyclists always ride for free thanks to our generous sponsors. The entry fee includes breakfast, lunch, bag drop, support stops, and a free soft-style commemorative shirt. Reservations for the Friday night sunset ride progressive dinner are $45 and is all-inclusive. Reservations for the Sunday morning sunrise pancake breakfast ride are $20 for ages 12+ and $15 for ages 4-11 and is all-inclusive. The Dam to DamWabash County Century Ride is a program of Visit Wabash County and is a part of the Wabash County Adventure Series. The event is organized by a group of volunteers dedicated to the advancement of trails and greenways throughout Wabash County. Members of the 2025 Dam to Dam Committee are Greg Garner, Shelly Baucco, Mike Paul, David Mann, Roger Peebles, Adam Stakeman, Donald “Pete” Peterson, Chris Wetherford, Christine Flohr, and Stephanie Rogers, event director.
