Daniel J. Beeman, 64, of Marion, passed away at 10:05 am on Friday, November 15, 2024, in his home. He was born in Elwood, Indiana, on Tuesday, September 6, 1960, to Jim Beeman and Margaret (Hiatt) Drook.
Daniel attended Marion High School and served in the United States Army National Guard Reserve. Following his military service, he was a construction worker with Leighty’s Seamless Guttering. Daniel enjoyed playing the guitar, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. He was known for being very helpful and liked to keep to himself.
Survivors include his sons, Joe Beeman of Marion and Jeremy (Branden) Beeman of Decatur; brother, David (Kathy) Beeman; sisters, Karen (Dave) Herring, Rebecca Williams, and Valerie Hurd; companion, Dorothy “Dottie” Kerr; grandchildren, Kayleb (Azalaya Thinnes) Beeman, Kaimen Beeman, and Chaney Carl; great-grandson, Kamari Beeman; and step-grandchildren, Jackson Thinnes and Alaya Thinnes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim (Katie) Beeman; mother, Margaret (Paul) Drook; sister, Laura Lynn Drook; brother, Jonathon E. Drook; and brothers-in-law, Melvin Williams and Jim Hurd.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
