WABASH, IN- Daniel’s Place 2nd Annual Gala and Auction is this Saturday, November 16th, 2024. Tickets to the Gala are sold out but the Auction is currently live to anyone with internet. The auction features exclusive items and experiences such as a behind the scenes tour of DeBrand Fine Chocolates, a lovely stay at the Morris Inn at Notre Dame, dinners and date night packages, an IndyCar Experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, gift baskets, golf outings and more. Bidders can even bid on a free pie for every month from Nordmann’s Nook.

Daniel’s Place is a nonprofit organization focused on providing respite care across the lifespan of persons with physical and intellectual disabilities. They care for guests of any age.
Respite care is a short-term service that provides temporary relief for caregivers of individuals with different abilities including, but not limited to, Autism, cerebral palsy, Alzheimer’s, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability or delay.
At Daniel’s Place, the respite guest will feel at home so their caregiver can practice ways to restore their own energy to prevent burnout and frustration that can come with being a full-time caregiver. Guests and their families find respite care to be beneficial not only to their daily routine but overall reduction of stress and restoration of energy.
