David “Dave” Jason Alleman

David “Dave” Jason Alleman, 46, of Marion, was welcomed by Christ with his wife and adult children by his side, 2:43 pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, on Monday, February 6, 1978, to Forrest “Dave” and Theresa (Hysell) Alleman. On October 16, 2017, he married his true love, Jennifer Lynn Pietrzak, who survives. Dave worked as a shipper/loader for PCA in Gas City. On April 8, 2023, Dave was baptized at St. Paul Catholic Church, where he served as an usher alongside his son, Lucas. Dave enjoyed being outdoors and “piddling” in his yard/garden with his wife. He was a wonderful handyman and was blessed with the skill to fix and rebuild just about anything. He was also an avid video gamer and truly loved his Xbox. He had a love for God’s creatures and rescued many fur babies, whom he loved dearly. Dave met the love of his life on November 15, 2012. Together they took two broken pieces of family and created one of the most beautiful, blended families this world has seen. This family was the greatest joy in his life. They were the reason he woke every day and the last thing he thanked the Lord for every night. Through his marriage, Dave was blessed to be the son of an additional set of parents, James and Karen Pietrzak, whom he loved and cherished with all his heart. Dave was a wonderful man, husband, father, son, brother, friend, uncle, and outlaw. He will be missed deeply by those who love him. In addition to his parents and loving wife, Jennifer Lynn Alleman, Dave is survived by his sons, Gage A. Alleman, Kabe J. Alleman, and Lucas R. Pietrzak; daughters, Natalie J. Pietrzak, Jazlynn A. Alleman, and Brittney Jaynes; brothers-in-law, Matthew (Megan) Pietrzak and Andrew (Kylie) Pietrzak; sister-in-law, Candice Harback; several nieces, nephews, and friends; brother from another mother, Chad Turner; and his “little” dog, Bandit, and the rest of his zoo. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jamie Carroll; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Frances Hysell; his paternal grandparents, Marcus Fred and Ann Alleman; and aunt, Valerie Jo Hysell-Offord. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral mass to celebrate Dave’s life will begin at 1:00 pm at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 W. Kem Rd., Marion, IN, with Father Ted Rothrock officiating.  Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park in Marion. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for the care of his beloved children. Memories may be shared online at www.nswcares.com.
