This from wfft.com: FORT WAYNE, IN (WFFT) — Jury selection for the Delphi murders trial is beginning its second day today at the Allen County Courthouse.
The process will be completed once 12 jurors, and four alternates are selected from Allen County.
Monday’s jury pool dwindled from 52 people to 14 after people were asked several questions regarding evidence, forming opinions and information related to the case.
Hundreds of potential jurors are still on standby.
If the remaining jurors are selected by the end of the day today, the trial is expected to begin as early as Friday in Carroll County, approximately two hours southwest of Fort Wayne.
The trial will examine the 2017 deaths of teenagers Abigail Williams and Liberty German, who 52-year-old Richard Allen is accused of killing.
Allen was booked into the Allen County Jail on Sunday in preparation for the beginning of jury selection.
