Dillon S. Gallahan, 18, of Peru, passed away Sunday morning December 1st, 2024. He was born in Hendersonville, TN on December 12th, 2005. His mother is Emily Sopher married to Travis Sopher of Peru, IN. His father is Patrick Gallahan married to Valerie Gallahan of Azusa, CA.
Dillon was a Franklin Simpson High school graduate. He was employed at Co-Tronics in Peru as a factory laborer.
Dillon had a heart of gold, very strong willed, and open minded. In Dillon’s spare time he liked playing basketball and listening to music. He enjoyed being around his family and friends. Dillon loved being outdoors, he used to tell everyone “He liked being one with nature.” Dillon was a people person; he could make friends with anyone. Along with people Dillon loved his animals.
Surviving in addition to his mother and father, are his brothers Kasen Gallahan of Peru, IN, Dayton Gallahan of Azusa, CA, and James Sopher of Peru, IN. His sister Lily Sopher of Peru, IN. Grandparents: Melisa Jent of Peru, IN, Kim and Allen Wehr of Key Largo, FL, Mike and Dea Gallahan of Converse, IN.
He is predeceased by his Grand-Fathers Stephen Buffington of Peru, IN and Roger Selleck of Peru, IN.
Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Adam Linkenhoker officiating. Dillon will be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
