Donald “Jeff” Jeffrey Carnagua, 63, of Peru passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Donald Earl and Patricia Gaye (Utley) Carnagua on December 5, 1960. Jeff married Michele Morphet on February 9, 2007 and she survives.
Jeff retired as a civilian ECO Officer at Grissom Air Force Base, 434th Air Refueling Wing. He was a proud member of the United States Army and Air Force Reserves. Jeff also served as an active member of Spring Creek Christian Church.
He was very involved in community theater and was a part of 50 different plays in Peru and the surrounding counties. He loved to sing and enjoyed being a part of a pool league. Jeff quite honestly lived life well.
In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by his mother and 12 children; Matthew (Naila) Carnagua of Wabash, Indiana, Stephen (Audra) Carnagua of Indianapolis, Indiana, Daniel (Allison) Carnagua of Peru, Indiana, Rachel (Nick) Robertson of Indianapolis, Indiana, Elisa, Elijah, Chloe, Phoebe, Zachariah, Lydia, Malachi, Levi Carnagua all of Peru, 11 grandchildren; Abigail, James, Isaac, Anara, Cecelia, Eliana, Azariah, Caleb, Naomi, Jude, Hannah Carnagua, and siblings; David (Norma) Carnagua of Texas, Darrin (Jill) Carnagua of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Gwynn Carnagua of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Donald Earl Carnagua.
A graveside service will take place at 1:00pm on Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Spring Creek Christian Church Cemetery, 3573 N. C.R. 450 E. Logansport, Indiana with Pastor Jeffrey Hayes officiating. Burial will follow.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Jeff will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 3:30pm-5:30pm at EastPointe Bible Church, 1540 East Paw Paw Pike, Peru, Indiana. A service will follow at 5:30pm with Pastor Jim Butler, Pastor Jeff Hayes, Pastor Matt Flenar, and Pastor Matthew Carnagua all officiating.
