Downtown Cookie Walk returning for December’s First Friday

WABASH, IN- Downtown Wabash is gearing up for its 4th Annual Downtown Cookie Walk, taking place during December First Friday on Friday, December 6, from 5-8 p.m. This sweet holiday tradition invites the community to enjoy delicious cookies from participating businesses while exploring the downtown area and checking off their holiday shopping lists.

Make sure to grab a Christmas cookie tin from home to be able to carry all the cookies home from this year’s Cookie Walk. The nine participating locations where guests can collect festive treats include JoJo’s Olfactory & Co., Modoc’s Market, Braspy’s Trinkets, Brooch Boutique, Rock City Lofts, Downtown Nutrition, Wabash City Schools Administration Building, The Access Youth Center and Downtown Wabash, Inc.

In addition to the Cookie Walk, several downtown locations are offering exciting shopping specials and activities to enhance your holiday experience. Stop by Downtown Nutrition for festive refreshments, browse unique finds at Reading Room Books, and enjoy live entertainment at Living Well Downtown. Rock City Lofts is hosting tours of one of their beautiful apartments, while Nicole A. Howard Photography is offering Christmas photo specials. Brooch Boutique features great deals on stylish gifts, and Honeywell Arts & Entertainment is offering discounts on upcoming show tickets.

The Access Youth Center will host a cookie decorating station, adding a sweet and interactive element to the evening. Shoppers can also find discounts at Braspy’s Trinkets, Bluebird Boutique LLC, and Birdie J’s, while Visit Wabash County offers locally crafted goods along with a free Chickadee ornament with purchases (while supplies last). Don’t forget to stop by Modoc’s Market & Espresso Bar for a delicious treat or warm drink to round out your festive evening in Downtown Wabash.

Adding to the festive fun, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance at Downtown Wabash, Inc., 189 S. Miami Street, Suite 1, where families can enjoy FREE photos with the iconic holiday duo.

Downtown Wabash First Fridays are free and open to the public, offering a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Community members are encouraged to shop locally during December First Friday and throughout the holiday season to support small businesses in the downtown area.
