WABASH, IN—Known for hosting nearly 40 events throughout 2024, the Nationally Accredited Main Street Organization Downtown Wabash, Inc. is ready to begin its cherished holiday tradition once again with the annual Jingle Jubilee on Friday, Nov. 15. This beloved celebration marks the official start of the holiday season in Downtown Wabash and leads into five weeks of festive shopping, community fun, and family-friendly experiences.
With something for everyone, Jingle Jubilee will feature a competitive stamping map, offering participants chances to win cash prizes redeemable at over 13 small businesses in Downtown Wabash. In addition to the stamping map excitement, guests can enjoy the annual lighting of the Wabash County Courthouse, a heartwarming live nativity scene presented by Bachelor Creek Church and plenty of shopping specials to kickstart the season of giving. From festive displays to joyful community gatherings, Jingle Jubilee is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.
The seasonal fun doesn’t stop there. Downtown Wabash, Inc. will also host several more holiday-themed events, inviting locals and visitors alike to celebrate, shop, and support small businesses:
- Small Business Saturday (Nov. 30): This American shopping holiday is designed to promote local businesses. With every dollar spent in a small business, 67 cents stays within the local economy. Join us in supporting Downtown Wabash’s many independent shops and make a big impact with every purchase.
- December’s First Friday: The Annual Downtown Cookie Walk (Dec. 6, 5-8 p.m.): Downtown Wabash’s final monthly street festival will transform the district into a winter wonderland, creating a magical setting for holiday shopping and family fun. The popular Cookie Walk returns, where holiday shoppers can sample delicious treats at various businesses while checking off their gift lists.
