Freda Fay Bradford, 77, of rural Roann, Indiana, died at 5:40 pm, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at her home. She was born on March 31, 1947, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to Howard H. and Dolla M. (Fraley) Hyden.
Freda married Fairley Bradford in Wabash, Indiana on June 18, 1962; he died July 17, 2010. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. Freda was a member of the Silver Lake Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Thomas J. (Rhonda) Bradford of Roann; two great-granddaughters, Makenzie Bradford and Josie Bradford, both of Wabash. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Ricky Bradford, grandson, Thomas Bradford, two brothers, Howard and Eugene Hyden, and her sister, Nora Bradley.
Private graveside services and burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
