Gary Wayne Martin, 66, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Parkview Health Randallia in Fort Wayne. He was born on July 28, 1958, in Wabash, Indiana, to Raymond and Ruth Anna (Martin) Martin.
Gary was a 1976 graduate of Wabash High School. He worked at Walmart in Wabash for 15 years in several departments. He also worked several years at Cyclone Manufacturing in Urbana, and at Bulldog Battery in Wabash. Gary was a member of the John Purdue Club and loved anything Purdue. He also loved his dog, Toby, and enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
He is survived by two sisters, Diana Blair of Wabash, and Linda (Scott) Haupert of Lagro, Indiana, two nephews, Todd Blair of Wabash, and Randall Sexton of Marion, Indiana, niece, Adara Sexton of Beach Grove, Indiana, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 9, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Rev. Nathan Whybrew officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
