Imogene Tedder

Imogene Tedder, 84, Marion, passed away at 12:29 am on Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, June 22, 1940, to Pinkney and Gertrude (Hurd) Miller.  

Imogene attended Fremont School and worked as an Endo Tech for 35 years with Marion General Hospital, retiring in 2005. She loved BINGO, painting color by number, reading, shopping with her daughters, family cookouts and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.  

Survivors include her daughters, Patty (Lennise) Garrett of Marion, Cathy Denney of Marion, Laura (Lori Kelch) Tedder of Marion; brother, Steve (Edina) Miller of Gas City; grandchildren, Jammie (Astrid Peeples) Tedder, Troy (Carrie) Garrett, Travis (Jackie Dilley) Kling, Trent Kling, Joey (Kimmy) Denney, Latisha Watkins, Corey Kelch, Kelsey (Stephen) Lippens, Jennifer (Scott) Morris, Tommy (Dria) Tedder, Laci Tedder, Lindsey Dubois, Cody Tedder; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pinkney and Gertrude Miller; sons, Jim Tedder, Tom Tedder; brother, Robert Miller; sister, Marlene Vetor; and former husband, James Tedder.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Imogene's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.  Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
