The intent of the MHMP is to plan for a disaster before it occurs in order to reduce the physical, social, and economic impact of that disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;The draft Wabash County MHMP Update may be accessed at https:\/\/www.in.gov\/counties\/wabash\/departments\/ema\/ or our EMA Facebook Page at https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100064679137758<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Topics covered in the update include: an overview of the planning requirements; a summary of the risk assessment and vulnerability analysis; and proposed mitigation projects for prevention, property protection, natural resource protection, emergency services, structural control projects, and public information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comments will be accepted through Friday, June 19, 2026.
