Seeing so many runners<br>participate this year was truly inspiring.\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants were greeted at the finish line with enthusiastic cheers, live music, and<br>finisher medals, creating a festive atmosphere that extended beyond the race course.<br>The event was made possible through the support of local volunteers, sponsors, and<br>community partners.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to promoting health, welness, and outdoor recreation, Wabash Run The<br>River continues to serve as a driver of tourism and economic impact for the county,<br>bringing visitors from across the region and beyond.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cash prizes were awarded to the top male and female finishers in each race distance,<br>thanks to the generous support of title sponsor Chittick Insurance.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Included in the 429 participants were 36 individuals in MyTeam Triumph. \u201cMyTeam<br>Triumph exists to allow people with all abilities the opportunity to experience endurance<br>sports, and we do that through forming a partnership between a Captain and an<br>Angel,\u201d explains Todd Schindler, vice president for MyTeam Triumph Northern Indiana<br>and coordinator for Wabash County.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants traveled from as far away as Denmark, Australia, North Carolina, and<br>California to join this year\u2019s race, showcasing the wide appeal of Wabash County\u2019s<br>natural beauty and welcoming charm.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visit Wabash County extends its appreciation to all runners, volunteers, sponsors, and<br>spectators who helped make the 2026 Wabash Run The River another memorable<br>success.
