This free event welcomes local women to come together, celebrate the power of giving, and see firsthand how their contributions make a lasting difference in Miami County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guests will receive updates from last year\u2019s grant recipients, meet this year\u2019s finalists, and vote to determine how grant funds will be awarded. Membership dues collected throughout the year are pooled to fund grants, and half are invested in an endowment that will support Miami County forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEvery woman has something valuable to give, and when we come together, those individual gifts create lasting change,\u201d said Cheryl Broyles, Miami County Community Foundation Director of Development. \u201cBoomerang Sisterhood is about women investing in nonprofits, proving that generosity has the power to come full circle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Membership in the Boomerang Sisterhood is open to women of all ages. Annual dues are $120 for women 22 and up, $60 for ages 16\u201321, and just $12 for ages 8\u201315. Members who pay their dues by the gathering date are eligible to vote on grant recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event is free to attend, and RSVPs are encouraged by August 31.
