The trail officially opened on September 18, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more than five decades, Timbercrest has called North Manchester home. Throughout the years, the community has continually invested in its campus, creating a vibrant environment that encourages connection, wellness, and meaningful experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the features that makes Timbercrest unique is its rural setting. In 2024, Timbercrest acquired woods adjacent to the chapel, expanding the campus to 120 acres. The acquisition was made with a vision of creating additional outdoor space where residents, families, and neighbors could walk, explore, exercise, and experience the natural beauty of the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The newly opened Woodland Trail brings that vision to life. Featuring a paved, ADA-compliant pathway, the trail is accessible to people of all abilities and provides a welcoming space for walking, running, biking, and mobility scooter use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Woodland Trail is open to residents, families, friends, and community members, inviting everyone to explore the woods and experience the natural surroundings that make Timbercrest special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About Timbercrest Senior Living Community<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Timbercrest Senior Living Community is a not-for-profit organization situated on a scenic 120-acre campus in North Manchester, Indiana.
